12
How should I expect to feel after the massage session?
Most people feel relaxed and refreshed after a massage. However, it's normal to experience some soreness for a few days after a deep tissue or remedial massage, especially if it involved working out knots or tight muscles. Drinking plenty of water and taking a warm bath can help ease this soreness. If you have any concerns about how you feel after a session, please contact us via email at eastfremantlemassage@gmail.com.
13
What should I not do after the massage?
After your massage, it's best to avoid heavy physical activity, such as high-intensity workouts, as your muscles have been manipulated and need time to recover. Also, try to avoid consuming alcohol or large meals immediately after your session, as your body is still in a state of relaxation and these can cause discomfort or diminish the effects of the massage. Additionally, steer clear of taking a cold shower immediately after; instead, opt for a warm bath if needed, as it helps extend the soothing effects of the massage.
14
Can I exercise after the massage?
It's generally recommended to avoid strenuous exercise immediately after a massage. Your muscles are relaxed and may not perform as intensely as usual, increasing the risk of injury. Gentle, low-impact activities like walking or stretching can be beneficial, but save any vigorous workouts for at least 24 hours after your session to allow your body adequate time to recover.
15
I am allergic to some oils; can you offer alternative oils or creams?
Yes, we can offer alternative oils or creams to accommodate your allergies. Please mention this when making your booking so we can ensure we are fully prepared for your session with the appropriate alternatives.
16
I would like a massage, but I don't know which one I should book. What should I do?
If you're uncertain about which type of massage would best suit your needs, we recommend booking an initial consultation with one of our experienced therapists. During this consultation, the therapist will evaluate your specific health concerns, lifestyle, and personal preferences. Based on this assessment, they will recommend the most appropriate treatment to ensure you receive the maximum benefits from your massage experience. You can schedule this consultation by calling us at 0467 680 718 or emailing us at eastfremantlemassage@gmail.com.
